Alignment with International Standards
The program suite is designed to align with:
- UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers (ICT CFT) — covering 18 competencies across six aspects of professional practice over three levels of development: Technology Literacy, Knowledge Deepening, and Knowledge Creation. The framework is intended to inform teacher-training policies and programmes to strengthen the use of ICT in Education.
- UNESCO AI Competency Framework — focusing on a human-centered perspective, AI ethics, AI techniques and applications, and AI system design, guiding professionals in using AI effectively and ethically in education.
- TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) Framework — providing educators with the knowledge and skills they need to meaningfully integrate technology into teaching in specific content areas. The framework highlights that educators should master technological knowledge (TK), pedagogical knowledge (PK), and content knowledge (CK).
- OECD Digital Education Outlook — emphasizing that effective digital education requires the careful adaptation of pedagogical approaches rather than a reproduction of traditional teaching practices in a digital format.
- European DigCompEdu Framework — supporting educators to seamlessly integrate technology both inside and outside the classroom.
