Admission Criteria

Admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at GenevaTech Business School (GTBS) is based on academic merit, English language proficiency, and the applicant’s motivation to pursue higher education in business and management. GTBS welcomes applications from students of diverse educational backgrounds who demonstrate the potential to succeed in a rigorous, internationally oriented learning environment.

Minimum Admission Requirements

• Successful completion of secondary education (12 years of schooling) or an equivalent qualification that provides eligibility for university admission in the applicant’s home country.
• Minimum overall academic performance equivalent to:
  • 60% or Grade C (or equivalent), or
  • CGPA 2.5/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Applicants with strong academic records may be considered for merit-based scholarships.

English Language Proficiency

Since the language of instruction is English, applicants whose previous education was not conducted in English should demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following:

• IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.0
• TOEFL iBT: Minimum 80

Applicants may be exempted if they have completed at least three years of education in English or satisfy other institutional English proficiency requirements.

• Curriculum Vitae (recommended)
• Personal Statement (300–500 words)
• One Academic Reference (recommended)
• English Language Proficiency Certificate (where applicable)
• Passport-size Photograph

Admissions Interview

Applicants may be invited to participate in an online or in-person admissions interview to assess their academic motivation, communication skills, and suitability for the programme.

Recognition of Prior Professional Learning (RPL)

Applicants with relevant post-secondary qualifications or recognized professional certifications may apply for advanced standing or transfer of academic credit, subject to the GTBS Recognition of Prior Professional Learning (RPL) Policy.

Admission Decisions

Applications are evaluated holistically, taking into account:

• Interview performance (where applicable)
• Supporting documents and references

Successful applicants will receive a formal Letter of Admission, together with information regarding tuition fees, enrolment procedures, and visa requirements for international students.
