PROGRAM STRUCTURE

 Three-Tier Diploma Series

The EdTech Diploma Series comprises three sequential levels, each representing a higher order of competency, academic rigour, and professional recognition.

 ECTS Framework

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a standard for comparing the study attainment and performance of students across the European Union and other collaborating European countries. Under the ECTS framework:

• 60 ECTS credits represent one full academic year of study or work.
• 1 ECTS credit corresponds to 25 to 30 hours of total student workload (including self-study, assessment preparation, and contact hours).
• Credits are awarded only upon successful completion of the required work and demonstration of achievement of defined learning outcomes.

LEVEL 1:

DIPLOMA IN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

 Entry Requirements

Candidates must satisfy one of the following:

• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field with relevant EdTech coursework.
• A recognised teaching qualification with demonstrated EdTech components.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a technology-enhanced environment, supported by a portfolio of practice.

Assessment Mode

Online Proctored Test – a comprehensive, timed examination assessing the candidate’s knowledge and application of:

• Digital pedagogy and instructional design
• Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and utilisation
• Classroom technology integration (smart boards, tablets, multimedia)
• Digital content creation and curation
• AI tools in education
• Assessment and evaluation in digital environments

Test Format

 Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, candidates will be able to:

1. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of pedagogical approaches in digital and blended learning environments.
2. Effectively utilise and administer Learning Management Systems for instruction and assessment.
3. Integrate a range of digital tools (interactive boards, multimedia, AI applications) into classroom practice.
4. Design and deliver digital learning content aligned with curriculum standards.
5. Apply formative and summative assessment strategies appropriate for digital learning contexts.

Award

Successful candidates will be awarded the Diploma in Educational Technology, carrying 12 ECTS credits. The Diploma Holders are recognized as EdTech Practitioners.

LEVEL 2:

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

 Entry Requirements

Candidates must hold the Diploma in Educational Technology (Level 1) or an equivalent qualification / skill-set.

Assessment Mode

Advanced Online Proctored Test – a rigorous, higher-order assessment designed to evaluate:

• Strategic application of EdTech in institutional contexts
• Leadership in digital transformation
• Advanced instructional design and curriculum integration
• Data-driven decision-making in digital education
• Policy and ethical considerations in educational technology
• Emerging technologies and future trends in EdTech

Test Format

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, candidates will be able to:

1. Lead digital transformation initiatives within educational institutions.
2. Design and implement institution-wide EdTech strategies and policies.
3. Apply advanced instructional design principles to develop comprehensive digital curricula.

Award

Successful candidates will be awarded the Professional Diploma in Educational Technology, carrying 18 ECTS credits, accepted for articulation into their degree programs. The Professional Diploma Holders will also be recognized as EdTech Professionals.

LEVEL 3:

ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

Entry Requirements

Candidates must hold the Professional Diploma in Educational Technology (Level 2) or an equivalent qualification / skill-set.

Program Components

The Advanced Diploma comprises the following modules / integrated components:

1. Advanced Topics in Educational Technology – Deep dive into AI in education, immersive technologies (VR/AR), adaptive learning systems, and learning analytics.
2. EdTech Leadership and Change Management – Strategies for leading digital transformation, managing stakeholder resistance, and building institutional capacity.
3. Research Methods in Educational Technology – Quantitative and qualitative approaches to EdTech research, programme evaluation, and impact assessment.

Delivery Mode: Hybrid/online, self-paced with facilitated discussions and synchronous webinars.

Assessment: Module-based assignments, research proposals, and reflective journals.

Fieldwork Component

Nature: A supervised, practice-based project conducted in an educational setting (school, college, training centre, or virtual school).

Project Requirements:

• Minimum duration: 6–8 weeks of engagement
• Scope: Design, implement, and evaluate an EdTech intervention or initiative
• Deliverables:

Successful candidates will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Educational Technology, carrying 12 ECTS credits (6 coursework + 6 fieldwork). The Advance Diploma carries an overall accumulated score of 30 ECTS.
